BERYL IS MY MUM, AND WHAT A GREAT MUM SHE WAS.

MUM HAD 4 CHILDREN, STEVEN, VICTOR, RUTH AND SUSAN (ME).SADLY OUR STEVEN PASSED AWAY 19/10/94 AGED JUST 38. OBVIOUSLY MUM TOOK THIS REALLY BAD, BUT BEING THE STRONG WOMEN SHE WAS, SHE SOLDIERED ON AS BEST AS SHE COULD.

STEVEN HAD 4 CHILDREN, RUSSELL, ODETTE, AIMEE AND SCOTT. OUR ODETTE PASSED AWAY 10/03/04 AGED JUST 21. THIS WAS ALSO A TERRIBLE TIME FOR MUM ONCE AGAIN. BUT AS BEFORE SHE STAYED STRONG FOR THE REST OF HER FAMILY.

VICTOR NEVER HAD ANY CHILDREN, BUT RUTH HAS NICOLA AND JAKE. I HAVE THE ONE SON CALLED HARRY.

MUM IDOLISED HER CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN. MUM LOVED HER FAMILY BEING AROUND HER AND WE LOVED BEING AROUND HER. YEA SOMETIMES SHE DROVE US MAD BUT HEY THAT'S WHAT IM NOW DOING TO MY SON....DRIVING HIM MAD, AS HE SAYS I AM!!!

MUM WAS ALWAYS SMART AND NEVER WENT OUT THE FRONT DOOR WITHOUT HER LIPPY ON.

THEN AROUND 2004/05 MUMS MEMORY STARTED TO TROUBLE HER, WE ALL REASSURED HER THAT IT WAS PROBABLY JUST RELATED TO HER AGE.

MUM PLODDED ON BUT THE MEMORY THING WAS NOW GETTING WORSE AND MUM WAS DIAGNOSED WITH THAT HORRIBLE DISEASE....ALZHEIMERS IN MARCH 2007.

MYSELF AND MY SON MOVED BACK INTO MUMS, SO I COULD HELP MY DAD LOOK AFTER MUM. MUM WOULD OFTEN SAY YEARS BACK "PLEASE DONT EVER PUT ME IN A HOME" WHEN WE WOULD GET ON THE CONVERSATION OF US ALL GETTING OLD. AH.

MUMS DECLINE WAS RAPID FROM DIAGNOSIS TO HER PASSING, MAYBE THAT WAS A BLESSING ON HER PART. YES IT WAS REALLY TOUGH LOOKING AFTER HER BUT I SO WISH I COULD HAVE HER BACK SO I COULD LOOK AFTER HER, OBVIOUSLY NOT THE ALZHEIMERS, JUST MUM.

ITS BEEN JUST UNDER 6 MONTHS SINCE MUM HAS PASSED BUT IT FEELS LIKE 6 LONG YEARS SINCE I LAST SAW HER, HELD HER, TOUCHED HER, SANG TO HER, TALKED TO HER, LAUGHED WITH HER, CRIED WITH HER ETC ETC. O MY LOVELY LOVELY MUM, I MISS YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH.

Silent Tear.

Each night we shed a silent tear,
As we speak to you in prayer.
To let you know we love you,
And just how much we care.
Take our million teardrops,
Wrap them up in love,
Then ask the wind to carry them,
To you in heaven above.xxx

HEARTSTRINGS

When those we love go away, they never really leave us;
they are with us now, wherever we are.
Those whom we have cherished, live on forever,
for love wraps itself around the heart.
Although it's difficult now,
someday beyond our tears and all the world's wrongs;
beyond the clouds and all that we can see and touch,
we shall all understand.love from Lin xxx

Love Lives On
Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade
because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart,
far as long as there is memory,
they'll live on in the heart.xxx

Bridge of Love

There is a bridge of love
From our hearts to you
Where we've built love and memories
And admiration too.
This bridge of love is strongly built
To stretch far and wide
Keeping thoughts of our precious angels
Always by our sides

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

The Comfort and Sweetness of Peace
After the clouds, the sunshine,
after the winter, the spring,
after the shower, the rainbow,
for life is a changeable thing.
After the night, the morning,
bidding all darkness cease,
after life's cares and sorrows,
the comfort and sweetness of peace.

There is a beautiful garden,
In a far away land,
Where God and this sweet angel
Walk hand in hand,
How lucky God is
To have such a treasure
Take care of this angel Lord,
Forever and ever xx

If I had only known . . . . .

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven,
To bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knows why.

My heart still aches in sadness,
And secret tears flow,
What it meant to lose you,
No-one will ever know.

You and the angels, around God's happy throne,
I would have held you closer, if I had only known.

For your family Beryl xx

It was a sudden parting,
To bitter to forget,
Those who loved you dearly,
Are the ones who cant forget,

We often sit and think of you,
And think of how you died,
To think you could not say goodbye,
before you closed your eyes,

Your life was one of kindly deeds,
A helping hand for others needs,
Sincere and true in heart and mind,
Beautiful memories left behind,

The blow was hard, the shock severe,
To part with one we loved so dear,
Our loss is great, well not complain,
But trust in god to meet again,

Two tired eyes are sleeping,
Two willing hands are still,
The one who worked so hard for us,
Is resting at gods will,

Our family chain is broken,
Nothing seems the same,
But as god calls us one by one,
The link shall join again

Mothers

To watch over you when a baby
To sing you to sleep with a song
She'll comfort & cheer you
And always be near you
She'll treat you the right from the wrong
She'll do all she can
Just to make you a wo/man
And over a million things more
She'll cry for you, sigh for you
Yeas even die for you
That's what God made Mothers for.
